During the time Stephen and I were working on raising our Kundalini energies through chanting and meditation we started regularly astral projecting. For me astral travel was fun, I used to go scuba diving and I also flew over to Egypt and saw the pyramids with the sun rising in the east. But for Stephen it was different. He kept being harassed in the astral state. It seemed as though every time the “veil dropped” between the two worlds he would be attacked or bothered in some way and he frequently felt like he was suffocating. One particularly vivid nightmare/astral experience he had during this time was he was being chased by a monster with a deep voice. It was so terrifying Stephen tried to escape it by flying to the moon. On the moon he hid inside a coffin-like structure, but the monster found him then raped him inside the coffin.
One morning in the spring of 1997, we woke at about 8 a.m. I volunteered to go make breakfast in bed for us. So I got up and I went into the kitchen. Stephen saw me leave the room.
While I was gone Stephen had the weirdest experience. He saw the door open, and saw me holding a tray of coffee and bagels; I said “hi” and smiled. Then I “immediately morphed into a giant snake monster” and attacked him. The monster looked like a huge anaconda with large white fangs. It was trying to bite him and “constrict” him at the same time.
While he was fighting the monster, the real Leslie, me, holding a breakfast tray with coffee and bagels, started opening the door. The monster quickly disappeared.
I then saw Stephen’s face with a shocked, pale expression of horror. He looked at me like he was afraid of me. It took him a few seconds before he believed I was really me. The entire attack felt completely real to him, not dream-like in any way.
